Dina Fajardo-Tovar
Research assistant
Dina Daniela Fajardo-Tovar is an education specialist with a strong focus on the intersection of pedagogy, digital transformation, and social impact. She recently completed her PhD in Education at the Faculty of Education, University of Cambridge, where her research examined learning through play and the conditions that support playful learning experiences across diverse educational contexts.
At the DEFI Innovation Lab, Dina has worked as a research assistant exploring the role of educational technology in developing future skills for students and professionals and the practical application of research in real-world settings.
Dina is also the co-founder of dexterity.club (the Netherlands) and Kmbal A.C. (Mexico), education organisations that design evidence-based resources and programmes to support children, parents, and educators in fostering active, responsible, and ethical participation in an increasingly digital world.
